As the inventor of the ground-breaking Cinedeck EX, RX and MX record, monitoring and playback systems, he is an advocate of file-based technologies and the benefits of flexibility, speed and cost-saving they deliver to TV and motion picture production. Charles holds a BS in Architecture from Cornell University, and started in the media and entertainment industry as Technical Director at award-winning visual effects and animation studio Rhythm & Hues in Los Angeles. He then co-founded New York branding/creative agency Dbox, and during this period found his true calling in photography and aerial cinematography. Meticulous about his craft, and with an IT background, the subsequent founding of Cinedeck was a natural progression of his accumulated work experience and skills.

Jane brings financial know-how and quick-decision making skills to Cinedeck from previous roles in account management and logistics. Her talents in streamlining processes and project management across Cinedeck’s manufacturing, marketing and financial operations – ensure it all works successfully day-in, day-out.

Daine Pearson, Sales Engineer.

Daine brings a wealth of file-based production knowledge to Cinedeck. He joined the company after a successful stint as Sales Manager with Asia Media Products (AMP), where he helped to introduce Cinedeck RX and MX systems to major customers including US Navy/Dahlgren, NBC and CNN. Prior to AMP, Pearson was the technical and marketing specialist for Grass Valley's Infinity range of file-based products. He also has considerable production experience working as a director, producer, DP and editor on documentary, corporate and news productions for a variety of international and American organizations, such as CNN/Turner Broadcasting, ABC, BBC, Microsoft, The Learning Channel and the Comedy Channel. As systems designer and integrator, Pearson developed Avid, digital linear as well as more traditional component video post-production systems.

Miles Thomas

Miles will be supporting business development among government agencies and houses of worship. He brings over 25 years of experience in broadcast sales, having worked for major names in the business. Miles began his broadcast career in the satellite distribution industry with IDB, now GlobeCast NA, before moving into equipment sales at Harris Corp, Evertz and, most recently, integration solutions company Advantage Video Systems.
