FULL DUPLEX I/O

Like it’s predecessor, each channel of the RX2 can be controlled independently. So you can record on one channel while playing back on the other with different framerates and codecs across the two channels.

PLUG & PLAY

Anyone familiar with the operation of a tape deck will feel immediately comfortable with the RX2. Straightforward touchscreen buttons make the device easy to operate with little training time. The built-in high resolution LCD offers convenience of use while recording, playback or insert-editing.

FILE-BASED INSERT EDIT

With advanced deck control, each channel of RX2 can be controlled just like a tapedeck over RS422. Use each channel of RX2 as an independent tape deck while controlling each channel separately using your preferred NLE, 3rd party output device, or even a tapedeck.

10GbE | 8Gb FIBER CAPABLE

RX2 has an available PCIe lane open for an optional 10GbE or 8Gb fiber network card for record or playback across your high bandwidth network. RX2 also has a hot-swappable sled that can hold up to 2 standard 2.5” SSDs for additional record destinations.

Driving any Cinedeck is extremely intuitive. RX2 can be fully managed and operated via the built-in touch-screen but they can also have an external display, keyboard and mouse connected, directly or through an appropriate KVM, for easy desktop access.
